Early fall colors at Camp Pine Woods

The fall colors of 2015 are just beginning to emerge. Here are some shots I captured yesterday afternoon at the Camp Pine Woods Forest Preserve in Des Plaines, Illinois.

A simply stunning sugar maple.

A meadow adds a suitable from for some final fall (for now) colors.

Meanwhile a father and son fish on the Des Plaines River.
