Scott Walker visits Eureka College, Reagan's alma mater

We need more Republican presidential candidates to visit sites along Illinois' Ronald Reagan Trail.

Yesterday one of them gave a speech in Eureka.

From the Peoria Journal Star:
GOP presidential candidate and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker laid out his Day One plan to “wreak havoc on Washington” in a speech Thursday at Eureka College, the alma mater of President Ronald Reagan.

Walker's "big and bold" plans for his first day in the Oval Office include repealing Obamacare, terminating the pending nuclear deal with Iran and ending President Barack Obama’s actions on immigration.

"To wreak havoc on Washington, America needs a leader with real solutions. Political rhetoric is not enough — we need a plan of action," Walker told a crowd of about 200 in Eureka College’s chapel.

Walker pointed to his experiences as governor, including taking on union bosses in the face of protests and death threats to make Wisconsin a right-to-work state and surviving a repeal election, as evidence he's "been tested like no one else in this race."
