Time Magazine's Top Places to Live--Illinois shut out

Time Magazine listed its Top Places to Live--and of the 50 small towns none are in my hard-luck state of Illinois. The magazine also name its Top 5 Cities--none of them are in the Prairie State.

I guess rampant political corruption, high taxes, and spiraling public-worker pension debt aren't convincing selling points to outsiders.

Time also named the Top 5 cities for those who love the outdoors, places for kids, and its Top 5 for those who are rich and single. Illinois was shut out in these categories too.
