O'Malley: Baltimore would be central to a presidential run

Former Maryland governor Martin O'Malley is one of the people being blamed for the Baltimore riots. His zero-tolerance police strategy utilized while he was mayor of Baltimore that targeted minor crimes accentuated the anti-police feelings prevalent in black neighborhoods.

O'Malley is considering a presidential run, which he talked about earlier today on Meet the Press.

From the Baltimore Sun:
O'Malley, who has said he will decide this month whether to seek the Democratic nomination, said the situation in Baltimore "has to be central" to any presidential campaign.

When NBC's Chuck Todd asked if O'Malley would announce his 2016 decision in Baltimore, the former governor said he "wouldn't think of announcing anyplace else."
Run O'Malley run!
