Poll shows dead heat in Chicago's mayoral race

Five weeks out from voting day, the Chicago mayoral race between incumbent Rahm Emanuel and challenger Jesus "Chuy" Garcia is a "deadheat," a poll shows.

Of the 2,037 people questioned in the Ogden and Fry poll, roughly 42 percent gave their support to Emanuel. About 38 percent of respondents supported Garcia.
The margin of error for the poll is 3.2 percent.
