Chiraq: One dead and seven wounded on Tuesday

Five weeks to the day before Chicago's mayoral runoff election was a violent one in Chiraq. One South Sider was murdered yesterday--and seven other Chicagoans--on either the South and West Sides--were wounded.

Neither of the remaining candidates--incumbent Rahm Emanuel and progressive hero Jesus "Chuy" Garcia--is a tough law-and-order guy so the slaughter on Chicago's streets will continue no matter who wins.
