Year after Durbin spoke of "evaporation" of Great Lakes, Huron and Michigan water levels highest in 16 years

Last year, Illinois' hyper-partisan Democratic senator, Dick Durbin, gave a global warming speech where he had this to say about America's body of water. "Lake Michigan, when measured just a few months ago, was at its lowest depth in any measured time in recent history," Durbin warned. "What we are seeing in global warming is the evaporation of our Great Lakes."

The US Army Corps of Engineers recently released a report that water levels on the Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are the highest since 1998.
