Transparency? Iowa governor not told of 139 illegals sent to his state

President Obama promised the nation that his would be the "most transparent" administration in history.

He lied. Again.

From the Des Moines Register:
At least 139 unaccompanied immigrant children have been sent to Iowa so far this year after being detained by Border Patrol agents, but state officials say they had no idea until this week that the undocumented minors were living here.

The news was a surprise to Gov. Terry Branstad, who has repeatedly said in recent weeks that he wasn't aware of any young people from Central America being sent to Iowa after illegally crossing the U.S. border from Mexico. An aide said Branstad met earlier this month at a national governors' meeting in Tennessee with U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell, who never mentioned it.

Jimmy Centers, Branstad's communications director, said state officials received confirmation this week about the children arriving in Iowa, but he added that no other details were provided by federal officials.

"We are uncertain of their status and where they're from" because federal officials haven't responded to questions from the Branstad administration, Centers said. "The Obama administration's lack of transparency regarding their immigration crisis has made it difficult to get answers," he added.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, a Republican and the senior member of the Iowa congressional delegation, wasn't told about the illegals being sent to the Hawkeye state either.

How much more "Obama transparency" will the nation take before screaming out "enough?"
