(Video) ILL-inois: Pat Quinn denies he's the target of federal investigation

Local and federal authorities are investigating a Chicago anti-violence program launched in the autumn of 2010 by Governor Pat Quinn. The Chicago Democrat and two-time running mate of Rod Blagojevich denies, however, that he is a target of these investigations.

Two of those who received money from the slush fund were the spouses of Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown and state Rep. Will Davis--both pols of course are Democrats.

The Quinn slush fund was nothing more than electioneering "street money" used to drive up voter turnout in predominately black areas as Blago's successor faced a tough reelection.

He faces another one now.

From ABC 7 Chicago:

Decent Illinoisans deserve a better man as governor--Republican Bruce Rauner.
