Woman shot dead after attending anti-violence rally in neighborhood Obama worked as a community organizer

While the shooting death of Lenore Draper on Chicago's South Side Friday is a tragedy, the manner of her death deserves a look.

From ABC 7 Chicago:
A Chicago woman is shot and killed moments after attending an anti-violence event that she helped organize.

Police officers heard the gunshots around 10:30 Friday night in the 1300 block of West 116th in the West Pullman neighborhood.

A budget analyst for Chicago Public Schools and a freelance make-up artist, 32-year-old Leonore Draper was committed to fighting gun violence on Chicago's city streets.

On the committee of an anti-violence non-profit called A Charitable Confection, Draper was coming home from a fundraiser Friday night when she was shot and killed while sitting in her car on Chicago's Far South Side.
Chicago's government schools have been failing inner city children for decades. And there have been consistent anti-violence rallies in Chicago for an equally long time.

The Chicago Public School system doesn't work and anti-violence rallies don't work either.

And a greatly overlooked angle to the problem of Chicago violence is coziness between street gangs and politicians.

But Chicagoans keep electing these jackals.

Here's another point to consider. The West Pullman neighborhood was part of the territory that Barack Obama once worked as a community organizer. Last year a portrait was unveiled that now hangs at the West Pullman branch of the Chicago Public Library system. Progressives just love symbols.

Liberalism is a roadmap to failure.
