ILL-inois: Money to be poured into money-losing Amtrak

Abandoned factory in Rockford
Illinois is burdened by nearly $6 billion in unpaid bills and over $100 billion in pension debt. But the Democrats that mis-rule that state has money to dump into an Amtrak route between Chicago and hard-luck Rockford.

Amtrak operates 43 routes, only three of them make money. But liberals, such as Illinois' hapless governor, Chicago Democrat Pat Quinn, love trains--that's because trains only take people where the engineer is told to take them.

Eventually the soon-to-be money losing route may go as far as Dubuque, Iowa.

Feel the apathy.
