(Photo) Spring thaw in Northbrook, Illinois

Even though spring is officially here, there are still patches of snow here and there.

Yesterday I ran on the Des Plaines River Trail near the River Trail Nature Center in Northbrook, Illinois, where saw the spring thaw at work.
