Global warming news: Lake Michigan sets record for most ice cover

The brutal winter and its effects are even catching the attention of the Washington Post.
On Saturday, 93.29 percent of Lake Michigan was covered by ice, the most in records dating back to 1973.

This extent bested the previous record of 93.1 percent set in 1979.
These are facts--not some projections based on some cooked-up computer climate projections.
