(Photo) View from the frozen North Branch of the Chicago River in Morton Grove

Not only is the North Branch of the Chicago River frozen, the ice is covered with snow.

I took this picture in Morton Grove's Miami Woods on Sunday while standing on all of the ice and snow.

Caution--farther north, because of the outflow from the Skokie Lagoons, the river isn't frozen over. Be careful, especially now temperatures are finally above freezing.
