(Photo) Bright sun, shadows, snow, and the Des Plaines River

"And I know a fine thing when I see it. See it. For the same reason no one ever pointed a telescope at the sun." The Clash, Red Angel Dragnet.

Once again I pointed my camera, not a telescope, at the winter sun. This time I caught the shadows of the trees over the frozen Des Plaines River in the eponymous suburb.

The footprints on the river aren't mine--they're from deer.
