John Kerry talks global warming as another snowstorm hits the Midwest

Douglas Park, Chicago
Secretary of State was in Indonesia today to make a keynote address on global warming in balmy Indonesia, two days after the haughty Frenchman's boss talked up climate change in California--while a snowstorm pummeled Washington DC.

As I write this entry--yet another snowstorm is sweeping across the Midwest, it is expected to bring six inches of global warming to the Chicago area. So far Chicago has endured 62 inches of snow this winter--the all time record for Chicago is 89 inches, set during the legendary winter of 1978-79. I remember that one well. And that record may fall soon.

But the earth "has a fever."
