Global warming news: 5th snowiest Chicago winter ever

Chicago got hit with another snowstorm yesterday, this one was a bit different--near white-out conditions accented with thunder and lightning.

The local total snowfall for the 2013-14 winter is now at 66.8 inches--the fifth snowiest since records started being kept.
Since January 1, it has snowed 30 out of 48 days in Chicago--I believe it has rained once.

But the "earth has a fever," Al Gore says.
