Marathon Pundit: Veterans Day 2013--Morton Grove's Doughboy Monument

Today is Veterans Day--remember to thank the vets who served the greatest nation on the planet for your freedom.

Pictured once again in Morton Grove, Illinois' Doughboy Monument--which salutes the men of the town who fought in what was then called the Great War.

Next year the centennial of the start of World War I will arrive--America of course joined the Allies in 1917.

All gave some--some gave all.
