(Photo) Horsetail Lake in Palos Park

The Palos area southwest of Chicago is where I grew up. There are many forest preserves there and quite a few small lakes, ponds, and sloughs.

One of them is Horsetail Lake--which was packed with people fishing when I was there on Sunday.
