Lou Reed live: Satellite of Love

The great Lou Reed died this afternoon--he was 71. The groundbreaking rocker's best-known album was Transformer, which included his biggest hit, "Walk on the Wild Side."

Here he his--I'm guessing sometime in the 1970s--performing the lesser-known but still terrific "Satellite of Love," which U2 later covered.

This version ends on a more aggressive tone than the Transformer recording.
