GOPer introduces bill to protect National Parks during gov't shutdowns

Last week a Republican member of Congress, Chris Stewart of Utah, introduced a bill that will spare our National Parks the petty "shutdown theater" put forth by the White House that closed National Park Service facilities during this month's partial government shutdown. His bill his called the Provide Access and Retain Continuity Act (PARC) and it will allow the states to run the parks and other federal facilities that negatively effect tourism, mining, timber, or other business interests.

The states should be already running the people's parks.
