ILL-inois: Jesse Jr. sentenced to 30 months in prison

Former Illinois congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. will be adding to the family legacy soon when he joins his uncle, Noah Robinson, as an inmate in the federal prison system.

Junior was given a 30 month sentence this afternoon after pleading guilty to misuse of campaign funds. Robinson, the half brother of the ex-congressman's father, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, is serving a life sentence without parole money laundering and conspiracy to murder.

As of this hour Junior's wife, former Chicago alderman Sandi Jackson, who also pleading guilty to her role in the scheme, has yet to be sentenced.

UPDATE 12:25pm CDT: And then there were three. Sandi was given a one year prison sentence.
