Weekly GOP Address with James Lankford

Rep. James Lankford (R-OK) offers today's Weekly GOP Address. He chides the Senate for failing in its duty to pass a budget--something that it hasn't done in nearly 1,400 days.

"Majority Leader Harry Reid said it would be 'foolish' for his party in the Senate to produce a budget," Lankford says here. "We disagree. With more than 16 trillion dollars in debt, we believe it is foolish not to have a budget."

At the end of his address, Lankford invoked the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, whose birthday we celebrate on Monday.
