Harps to stay in closet: Bush 41 may be released from hospital soon

World War II Memorial
George H.W. Bush seemed to be aware that there was a death watch on for him. After weeks in the hospital for bronchitis, the 88 year-old ex-president was transferred to intensive care. We all have relatives who passed on in such a fashion.

But not, at least yet, Bush. In a statement last month, the World War II veteran quipped, "put the harps back in the closet."

And it appears that they will stay there for a while. A family spokesman says that Bush may be released from the hospital in the next few days.

Another victory for the Greatest Generation.
