Morton Grove's St. Paul Woods after snowfall

It was a beautiful afternoon yesterday in St. Paul Woods after a fresh dusting of snow.


Even the view from the parking lot is lovely.

A gray squirrel has to work a bit harder for a meal. This one is devouring box elder samaras, or if you prefer, maple fruits.


Four white tail deer look for food.
