Illinois corruption 9/20/12: Dixon horse lady charged with 60 new theft counts

Rita Crundwell, the champion horse breeder and former Dixon treasurer who has been accused of stealing $53 million from the northern Illinois town, was charged today with 60 counts of felony theft in Lee County.

She is already facing one federal charge.

Dixon of course is the hometown of the 20th century's greatest president, Ronald Reagan.
