Feeling the pressure: Rahm to cut DNC visit short

Where Rahm will speak: Time Warner Arena
Chicago mayor and former Obama White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel is feeling the pressure. He will still speak at the Democratic National Convention tomorrow, but the Tiny Dancer won't be staying until Friday as originally planned, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

Rahm is facing the possibility of the first Chicago teacher's strike in a generation as well as a sky-high murder rate. News that 50 desperately needed Chicago police officers will be assisting in patrolling Charlotte, the host of the DNC, doesn't help Emanuel's image.
