Chicago Public Schools prez decries mobs of teachers rallying

It's not just commuters who are displeased with the rush hour-ruining rallies by striking Chicago Teachers Union members. So is the head of the CPS.

From ABC 7 Chicago:
Welcome to Day 3 of the Chicago teachers strike, and the day begins with an ultimatum of sorts from Chicago Public Schools to the teachers union.

The tensions at the bargaining table are becoming more apparent as the strike is now into its third day. School Board President David Vitale took issue with the second teachers rally that ended in Grant Park within earshot of where talks were taking place.

"This is not the behavior of a group of people that are serious about the interests of our children. It is time for us to get serious," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Teachers Union says that the strike could be a long one.
