Doe and purple flowers

While running this evening I experienced the joyful sight of this doe a few feet away from the running path in Morton Grove's Miami Woods. I saw about a dozen other deer, but I had to stop and photograph this one because I like the contrast of the purple blossoms of wild bergamot--a member of the mint family.
