The Band: Up On Cripple Creek

While I was in Charlotte for FreedomWorks' BlogCon, The Band's Levon Helm passed away. The sole American in the act, the Arkansas native gave the legendary group a welcome dose of Southern seasoning.

Watch Helm, on drums and lead vocals, perform "Up On Cripple Creek" in rehearsal in 1969.
