Will there be more stories about tax scofflaws if Illinois raises its cigarette taxes?

Here in grifter land, also known as Illinois, people don't need that much of an incentive to game the system. Such as the two southwest suburban Chicago men who are accused of conspiracy involving unstamped cigarettes. When they are unstamped, it almost always means state and local smoking taxes have been bypassed.

Look for a heck of a lot more stories such as this one if Governor Pat Quinn gets his way and increases the state cigarette tax by $1-a-pack.
