Weekly GOP Address from Paul Ryan--on the three year anniversary of the Dem Senate last passing a budget

This weekend marks the third anniversary of the Democrat-controlled Senate passing a budget. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), the chairman of the House Budget Committee, has some good news in today's Weekly GOP Address.

"The president and his party leaders are now insisting that Washington take trillions of dollars from hardworking Americans in an effort to lock in ever higher government spending," Ryan warns here. "If we've learned anything over the last three years is that this approach won't work."

The House has passed a what Ryan calls a "pro-growth budget," which the Senate Democrats refuse to vote on. Thirty jobs bills are stalled in the Senate, Ryan says.

Ryan also calls for the construction of the jobs-rich Keystone XL pipeline, which the president and the Democrats are blocking.
