The Tea Party returned home this afternoon for a rally in Daley Plaza in the city's Loop. Yes it's named for a Democrat, Richard J. Daley.
This is what the plaza looked like about 15 minutes before the start of the rally. It was a windy and chilly day--and there were a few sprinkles.
Epic fail. Just say 'no' to President Obama.
"Hell no!" Great sign and message. Simple and effective.
Another American conservative. We're everywhere.
Wisconsin's lieutenant governor, Rebecca Kleefisch, gave a great speech which I reported on earlier this evening. As you can see, Tea Party members come from all races--we're not just a bunch of white people.
That's right, it's not about race. Unless it's a race to bankruptcy.
But Obama knows best. Right?
Not even our Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Geithner, is able to figure out our complex tax code.
Obama and Nancy Pelosi's dreams are our nightmares.
Joel Pollak, the editor-in-chief of Breitbart.com, ran for Congress in 2010 against Jan Schakowsky (D-Evanston). It was great to see him again--but I wish he was my congressman. Pollak spoke and sang a song--more on that in future posts.
A Mitt Romney supporter expresses herself.
I didn't drink the Kool-Aid either.
A hard-working American woman.
Unlike the Occupy events, the Chicago Police had little to do during today's Tea Party rally.
Gadsden flags come in handy.
But this woman wins my "Best Dressed" award.
