Fox News: Gingrich leaving race next week

Fox News' Carl Cameron is reporting that Newt Gingrich will either formally end or suspend his presidential campaign next week. The former House Speaker was hoping for a win in the Delaware Primary, instead, he lost to Mitt Romney by nearly 30 percentage points. Romney won the other four races Tuesday as well.

Gingrich is a terrific ideas man--I hope he stays engaged in the effort to defeat President Obama this fall.
