Cain on "Sick of Stimulus" and his 9-9-9 plan

At the first wave of Tea Parties three years ago--Barack Obama's stimulus bill was one of the targets of scorn from the protesters.

And at the time it hadn't even failed yet. But the $787 billion "porkulus"--the cost was later upped to $862 billion--had more than a whiff of the barnyard even then.

Last week Herman Cain held a bloggers' conference call about latest endeavor, "Sick of Stimulus."

The stimulus is "still very much on the minds of the American people," Cain said. Which is why, in my opinion, the president and his fellow Democrats never talk about it--unless pressed. And the elite media of course focuses on invented stories such as the Republican Party taking away contraception from women--not on the failed stimulus.

Cain Connections has a web ad about the stimulus:

Wow...that's a pretty blunt ad.

Do you remember when Cain suspended his campaign last fall? He said he was going to remain engaged in the national dialogue. One of his endeavors is still 9-9-9--a nine percent sales tax, as well as nine percent flat personal and corporate tax rates. Cain sent out a call for a candidate in each congressional district to run in support of 9-9-9. So far 23 candidates for Congress have committed to Cain's tax reform.
