Today's Army-Navy game played in honor of Ronald Reagan

Ohio, IL
Today's Army-Navy football game, the 112th meeting in this storied rivalry, will be played in honor of Ronald Reagan, who was born in Tampico, Illinois 100 years ago.

Reagan bolstered our military during his presidency--that feat, and the vibrancy of the American economy--won the Cold War.

President Obama, along with Vice President Joe Biden, who govern in a much different, and yes, less effective manner, will attend today's match-up in Landover, Maryland.

Reagan played college football at Eureka and broadcasted Iowa Hawkeye football games for a spell. Our 40th president's best-known movie role was as George Gipp in Knute Rockne: All American.
