Newt rips Harry Reid for abandoning DC during payroll tax fight

Newt Gingrich ripped Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) for bailing from the Capitol amidst the ongoing payroll tax extension battle earlier today in New Hampshire.

"Harry Reid is a totally partisan Democrat who arrogantly leaves," the former House Speaker said to the Granite Staters. "They pass a bill and leave the city! By what right does the Senate decide that they are the definers of America’s future and they leave?"
