On this day in 1980: Double rainbow over Reagan birthplace

A very good omen appeared in Tampico, Illinois on this day in 1980, the day before Election Day. A rare double rainbow appeared over the birthplace of Ronald Reagan. The next day "Dutch" won 45 states and closed the door on four years of Jimmy Carter's malaise.

Ths first rainbow stands for Reagan's win, the other represents his second term.

Morning in America was coming.
