Today's Solyndra summary

Chicago's Northwest Side
Sure, their office files have been seized by the feds, but it must be troubling to the White House that two Solyndra executives repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment during their House testimony earlier today when asked about the demise of their company.

Meanwhile, President Obama's adviser and his longtime confidante, David Axelrod, along with his former chief of staff, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, say they can't remember anything about the now-defunct solar panel firm that received a $500 million guaranteed government loan. The president visited the Solyndra plant in 2010. And executives from the company met with officials at the White House officials twenty times. Convenient "misremembering" on Rahm and Ax's part.

It's so bad that even the New York Times is taking notice. From today's front page headline: In Rush to Assist a Solar Company, U.S. Missed Signs.
