From the Wall Street Journal:
"Nobody knows if he ever killed anybody," Mr. Paul said after a breakfast at Saint Anselm College's New Hampshire Institute of Politics. "If the American people accept this blindly and casually…I think that's sad."It's believed that al-Awlaki radicalized the Fort Hood killer, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. Al-Awlaki was also linked to the failed Christmas "underwear" and Times Square bombings.

I love how media uses a snippet of how this came about and sensationalizes it.
ReplyDeleteRon Paul is not against the killing of combatants or enemy's or treasonists. However, there is no official declaration of war, so the rule of law is in effect.
The reason we have laws is that they need to be followed. No president is above the law...this is why we absolutely SHOULD have Ron Paul as President.
Nixon resigned for getting caught tape recording. We just assasinated an American Citizen, regardless of his wrongs, without charges, trial or due process.
We treated John Wayne Gacy Better. That's what Ron Paul is talking about, not the condemning of killing terrorists/enemy's in a war....do the research and get the facts before you post something so sensationalistic as you have.
