Axelrod's overemotional fundraising pitch for Dem: Can't wait to see her walk down aisle on those titanium legs

Tammy Duckworth, who until recently was the Assistant Secretary of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, is running for Congress in Illinos' 8th congressional district.

Duckworth lost the lower part of both of her legs in a helicopter crash serving in Iraq. She's a hero. A Democrat, she ran for Congress in an open seat race in 2006, Republican Peter Roskam prevailed.

David Axelord is a big supporter, but don't you think he went way too far in this fundraising appeal?
Like you, I can't wait to see Tammy Duckworth walk down the aisle on those titanium legs and stand in the well of the U.S. House, a woman with a spine of steel who has always done her duty, exhorting the Republicans in Congress to do theirs.

Will you help put that spine of steel in Congress by donating $10, $25 or $40 right now?
Axe did the boldprinting, not me.
