Blago takes the stand in his corruption trial

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Illinois' hair-brained former governor, Rod Blagojevich, has taken the stand in his corruption trial. He said, "I'm here to tell you the truth."

He also added that he has waited 2 1/2 years "to get my side of the story out."

I guess countless media appearances and even hosting his own Chicago radio show didn't give him that opportunity.
