Unhappy Easter: Chinese block "house" church service in Beijing

The Chinese government prevented an outdoor Easter service of unregistered, or "house" churches from taking place in Beijing today.

The house church movement is the most inspirational Christian story on the planet. Blocked from practicing their faith by the Communist government, they worship in the home of fellow believers. The first Christians in the Roman Empire probably worshipped in a similar fashion.

Will our government protest the ChiComm anti-religious action? Of course not: President Obama doesn't want to anger the nation we are in hock to for more yuan than I care to count.

Joseph Stalin derisively remarked "How many divisions does the Pope have?" when hearing about the the Holy Father's protest of one of his barbarities. But the Roman Empire became Christian. And the Soviet Union collapsed.
