Blago's jury-influencing campaign continues

Jury selection begins today in the retrial of disgraced former Governor Rod Blagojevich. His first trial ended in a hung jury in all but one count. The hair-brained Chicago Democrat was found guilty of lying to a federal official--which makes Blago the fourth elected Illinois governor out of the last nine to graduate to felon.

Since that first trial, Blago has been a fixture on the local airwaves in a blatant attempt to influence potential jurors. He spoke with reporters in front of his Northwest Side home--well aware that these jurors could be listening on the radio as they drove to the federal courthouse in Chicago's Loop.
