As for when contract time comes along and these officials and union officials meet, Romney told me, "No one at the bargaining table is representing the citizens."
Are you reading this post Governor Pat Quinn?
This is part three of my series to draw attention to the cash Quinn, who says he is a reformer, has collected from public-sector unions.
I'm defining public-sector unions as those who represent large numbers of government workers, such as SEIU, or those that clearly represent public-sector workers--the two Teamsters locals fit that definition. Click here and here for more information on the pair.
For the first two entries in this series, all of the contributions listed were for Taxpayers for Quinn. But when Sheila Simon was chosen as Quinn's running mate--after pawnbroker Scott Lee Cohen withdrew as the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor, a new committee was formed, Quinn/Simon for Illinois.
Click here for the entire report for Taxpayers for Quinn for the first six months of 2010.
SEIU HealthCare IL/IN PACBelow you will find the public-sector employee union contributions, both from SEIU, to Quinn/Simon for Illinois for April through June of last year. You fill find the entire report here.

this guy Quinn is such a horrible dissappointment the only thing he does is spend, spend, spend. Then instead of getting the cash for things from where he's suppose to get it from, he just pins another tax on either the citizens of Illinois or the smokers of Illinois.
ReplyDeleteHe's raised the income tax but has yet to cut a single thig....so where is all this new tax cash going.??? I'd sure love to see the polititions take a cut in pay like we all have...
