Pat Quinn's quid pro quo public-sector union cash, part one

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has taken the lead in criticizing his Republican counterpart in Wisconsin, Scott Walker, for his efforts in restoring balance in regards to public-sector union demands and taxpayer interests. He says that Walker should be "ashamed," although as I noted earlier this month, Quinn is the one, who has accepted piles of cash from public-sector unions for his campaign fund, Taxpayers for Quinn, who should be ashamed.

Quinn replaced his corrupt two time running-mate, Rod Blagojevich, as governor on January 29, 2009. For my first entry in this series only includes contributions from first six months of that year. For my reports, I'm including contributions from labor organizations that are generally regarded as public-sector unions. Many other unions sent cash to Quinn, undoubtedly some of their members are government workers. So the real total from the first half of 2009 is probably higher than $62,000.

Quinn, while he served as lieutenant governor, was a beneficiary of the Blago's dirty money. Public-sector unions were quite generous to Quinn's fellow Chicago Democrat.
