Gingrich forms presidential exploratory committee

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is forming a presidential exploratory committee, becoming the first top-tier Republican to take this step--so says the National Journal.

I expect other big names to quickly follow.

Gingrich has a keen mind and is able to opine--without a teleprompter--on almost any issue. His presence in the presidential race, win or lose, will elevate the debate in Iowa, New Hampshire, and beyond.
