The Battle of Madison roundup

We are all citizens of Wisconsin now
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." Thomas Jefferson.

"We are all citizens of Wisconsin now." Mark Levin, during last night's show.

I'm working today, so I'm missing the Battle of Madison--Tea Partiers vs. Tax Eaters. But Madison blogger and good friend of the blog TrogloPundit is Tweeting his observations from the scene.

Another Mad City blogger is Ann Althouse, who captures media bias at work with her camera. Instapundit is not in Madison, but has a collection of videos from the battlefield.

UPDATE 8:46PM Madison time: TrogloPundit has lots of pics. My favorite is the one with the sign declaring, "Illinois will trade Quinn for Walker." This post looks at the Loony Left in attendence.

  1. "Tax Eaters", what a great appellation! It brings to mind Voldemort's "Death Eaters" from the Harry Potter saga:

"They were a motley collection; a mixture of the weak seeking protection, the ambitious seeking some shared glory, and the thuggish gravitating toward a leader who could show them more refined forms of cruelty."
