McConnell calls Obama's spending freeze "inadequate"

Like a Starbucks Frappuccino with lots of cream, the effects of a Barack Obama speech can be quite pleasant at the time, but the buzz quickly wear off. Last night's State of the Union address was no different.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said the president's call for a five year freeze  on domestic discretionary spending was "completely inadequate." McConnell wants to go to the 2008 level of discretionary spending.
