AP: Gasoline prices headed up

I drove past two gas stations in Morton Grove yesterday charging $3.39 a gallon for regular. The national average is around $3 a gallon, but AP is predicting by March or April it will range between $3.20 and 3.75 per gallon.

Which means that on top of the 67 percent income tax increase, I could be paying $4.00 per gallon by Easter.

Meanwhile, the new "pro-business" Obama White House continues to drag its feet in issuing new offshore oil drilling permits in the Gulf of Mexico.

Drill here, drill now, pay less.
